Twisting Her Arm

Street photography is about sometimes capturing the unusual moments to tell a story. I captured this one on a hot day, it was around 45°C in Adelaide, and I was out walking. I wasn’t too interested in photos of people sweating. So I headed toward Centra Market to buy some film at PhotoCo.

this young couple were holding hands and enjoying the day. Not sure why but she decided to crouch down, maybe exhausted from the heat, but in doing so managed to twist her arm around into an odd position. He didn’t seem to case and just behaved as though it was normal in their relationship. I think she must have been exhausted…she waddled across the road in this position like ET.
