Salisbury Uniting Church Community Carols

It included a free BBQ, ice creams, kids activities, animal farm, live nativity characters, words from Rev Nick, and…carol singing!

Sometimes you need to sit back and acknowledge all the goodness that has happened before you and is present around you.

I went to take photos at this community event to help out. It was a real team effort by the Salisbury Uniting Church in a great spot, and we were blessed with awesome weather. It was just a genuine diverse community event.

I’m a bit of a quiet type Christian, and tend to shy away from community events, I’m the type who believes but sits at the back of a Church and then quietly slips away without wanting to get into the community too much. But, thanks Nick for inviting me down.

From a photography point of view, this was a lot of fun. I took out the Leica MP 240 Safari with the 50mm f2 Summicron. I think the gear was in its element, just as the light was failing, but with a lot of different scenes of human interaction to take photos of.
