Unfortunately some of the internal components and mechanisms have been simplified from earlier M cameras like the M4 and as a result the camera isn’t as good as older bench built Wetzlar bodies prior to the M4-2. While externally the titanium is better than chrome plated brass, internally corners were cut.
I would be interested to see proof that some internal components are in anyway compromised from the M2, M3, or M4 cameras.
