The Ferris Wheel

I really like what you can do with the Leica 50mm Summilux. It can have a real vintage or classic feel to it. This, I shot wide open at 64ISO and 1/4000th of a second and I just really like the lens bonus lens flare. Being Leica, despite a shallow depth it can still be pin sharp at its focus point. Nothing more of a fun, classic look when you are out taking photos. That said, I’m not much of a fan of 50mm lenses. I just don’t normally get on with the focal length. For some 50mm is the bee’s knees, but for me it is too close. I tend to prefer something wider to tell more of a story in the photograph.
