Lets face it, Westminster has got to be one of the most photographed places on Earth. And, a lot of the photos are taken from the same angle. Booooring! So, if you are travelling to London, here is my recommendation for a new angle to take photos of this famous landmark.
Cross the River Thames to the opposite side over Westminster Bridge.
Take the steps down to the footpath on the St Thomas Hospital side.
After you have taken the steps down, there is a little nook before an underpass under the bridge to the London Eye side. Wedge yourself in there (ignore the smell of pee) and angle your camera to get around one third of the shot taken by the archways under Westminster Bridge.
It adds a new perspective.
